An absolute disgrace what Im watching.
Real Madrid 0-2 Almeria at HT.
Second half starts, cross comes in and during an aerial dual the ball hits the arm of an Almeria player but he is clearly being fould.
VAR takes place and penalty is given, 1-2.
Almeria then make it 1-3 but wimpy Jude Bellingham goes down holding his face after an outstretched arm catches him in the face dueing teh build up. Nothing in it for me. Bellingham wasn't even holding the part of the face where the slight contact was made. What happens VAR disallows the goal.
If that wasn't enough the worse one of the three then take place. Cross comes in and Vinicius Junior clearly arm's it into teh net. It was as clear as day that it came off his upper arm just above the elbow, it was a deliberate attempt at cheating.
Ref correctly disallows it then goes over to the monitor and awards the goal.
Blatant cheating. Spanish football where Real Madrid is concerned is corrupt.

Real Madrid backed by the Spanish government.
Shame Greenwich Council doesn’t do the same with us.

Real Madrid backed by the Spanish government. Shame Greenwich Council doesn’t do the same with us. I believe it is the City of Madrid rather than the Spanish Gov. In any case I thought that was against the rules. However look at what Man City are getting away with, compared to Forest and Everton. Are some clubs too big to be allowed to fail?

Though I take your point about the big teams being protected wrongly at times, all of those decisions in isolation were not wrong imo.
The Almeria player definitely swung his arm and was booked. I think you were harsh on Bellingham there. The issue for me is going back to a foul missed by the ref nowhere near the box.
The penalty seems harsh but La Liga is more likely to give it than EPL apparently. However his arm was away from his body and it took it away from Bellingham who probably had a tap in.
The hand of god goal is weird and seems to depend on the length of the sleeve. Don't like the decision but can see why it may be given in isolation. It maybe touched the sleeve but also the arm. Rule needs to be reviewed if they are allowing that. As you say clearly cheating by the player, not sure by the ref.
I'm not sure why you don't like Bellingham, but he is ripping that league apart and I'm glad he is English. He looks real quality.

I read somewhere that the lad who scored Almeria's first goal started life at Charlton!

His reaction to the hand off was wimpish and he went down like a bit of a girl. I didn't say I didn't like him. I think he's a fabulous player but his actions let him down I think.
