Created a new topic away from the rumours thread because I want to correct myself from a statement I made earlier.
I said we had bid £1.5m but that was a total misunderstanding on my part. Bristol Rovers value him at around 1m and we have made an official 700k bid.
The player wants to come.
I was talking about Collins to someone earlier and the £1.5m figure came up in that connversation but it was a referral to what we have spent so far as opposed to it being the bid put forward for him.

That might be what they want ? 700k good opening offer expect it will be or has been rejected think we are going to have hit the 1 mill mark in this one to get him Fingers crossed .. perhaps a double swoop with Evans as well another excellent player at BR

Now, all of a sudden , you are advocating fairy stories about a League One club spending seven figure fees on a player 🤥 Just a reminder Colin - each of our last 5 home attendances have been between 5800-9000. You can’t spend what you are not bringing in, and we already lose a vast six figure sum each month.

Expecting to be pushed up higher but the player is not hitting the heights of last season due to the change in manager/position.

That’s your figure not the official figure FFP based on the official figure You can’t spend what you are not bringing in, and we already lose a vast six figure sum each month. Been saying which you refused to believe that come Jan both the owners and MA first full window that money will be spent .. there not stupid they will know where they are in conjunction to FFL after the scare in the summer .. we already agreed a deal that could be worth 1 mill Collins will be our second one .. expect at the end of the window our out going will be appox 3.5 - 4 mill ….. 3.5-4 mill more then you kept going on about and attacking the owners at every given chance …

You are throwing figures around that don't exist at this moment in time. What I posted last night was exactly where we are at and we are awaiting Bristol Rovers to come back to us. I have posted what I can and no more than that until there are further developments so you posting made up information isn't helpful. It would be wise to stop making up what's going to happen next. Only you have decided that and worst still you are passing it on as updates to what I have already put up. I'll put it a different way. Joshua Freedman's representitives are negotiating a deal with with Wael Al-Qadi. Both are serious money men trying to strike up a deal but back in South London Bexleyboy is ahead of them both having decided what's going to happen next!!

If he has a choice between us and the likes of Derby, he won't be signing for this shit show.

That shambles of a midfield today was crying out for a player like Collins within in it. However with this moron of a manger we have, he would probably play Collins at right back or something ridiculous like that.

If we have bid £700k for him, why aren't we in for half for Jake Young?

If we have bid £700k for him, why aren't we in for half for Jake Young? Cause Collins is one of the best players in this league

A win tomorrow doesn’t change anything. You could argue a win tomorrow could make things worse as the SMT may think it takes some of the urgency out of the situation.
