Just to reiterate what I said on here last night. Contrary to reports on social media and CL, Macauley never failed a medical. He just needed further investigation and the judgement of the new Performance Director.
Very good signing. More and more of our average players becoming surplus with every signing we make.

Certainly, credit is due for addressing the need at LCB. Signing strikers tends to be more challenging, and the process may extend until the last day, but once one is secured, I’ll breath a bit easier. |

Makes so much sense but I think we are playing a system which suits CBT rather than what is best for the team If we stop conceding as we have previously we will start to win games and 3-5-2 will make us harder to break down Edun plays like a winger anyway and I would get the lad in from Lincoln Sorrenson as the right wing back…. A partner complimenting Alfie and we will score plenty of goals….. no brainer for me |

The winds of change are definitely starting to blow, are we finally going to get lucky with the right owners with decent investment in the right players for the team and touching on investment in the ground with safe standing seems to point to the purse strings loosening.welcome aboard Mac ,the building blocks are coming together.maybe my start of the season bet of top 6 is still alive ok only maybe 😉

Let's hope for a few more similar days and even months throughout 2024. Followed by very selective retention of those players whose contracts expire in June. We all want decent results but first the foundations need to be bought and put in place. |

Long way to go yet but we now have at least some evidence to suggest SE7 mean business. More work to do obviously and we need to see what happens when these new players get “on the grass” but at long last I think we have some reasons to be cheerful. Wouldn’t it be great if we could celebrate with a win tomorrow?!! I hope you enjoy the game. |

Notoriously hard to do so in January but they’ve come good I agree with what you say, my only caveat is lets see what role the new players play in a team setting... at this stage I'm not bothered about the result, its whether the overall performance improves... the wins will come... I guess like most, I'm tarnished by " big signings" that dont work out, Charlie Kirk for one, and sometimes, as loyal supporters our expectations may exceed player capability |
