Has to be one of the most overrated footballers I have ever sen inas Charlton shirt.
Backwards minded with the ball at feet and totally taking away from Scott Frser's game because he wants to do the opposite.
Selling him cannot happen soon enough but I don't want Appleton rebuilding this side.

Sorry mate, but I can think of about 6/7 worse players to pick than Dobson in that team. |

Sorry mate, but I can think of about 6/7 worse players to pick than Dobson in that team. I agree but it his game is detremental to Fraser's, our only real attacking outlet behind the strikers. One tries to go forward while the other goes backwards to our own goalkeeper so I know which one I prefer to build around if that ever happened. Owen Moxon is a defensive midfiedler and he is twice the player Dobson is. Great at set pieces with his excellent delivery and scores goals. Don't see any of that with Dobson. |

Isn’t that down to the management to sort out though? I also think Dobson has been decent for us and understood why he won POF for us. I just think this squad isn’t good enough for Dobson to show his real ability. |

This is a tricky one as I actually like Dobson and I think he remains one of our better players which isn't saying much. However, he is another whose form has dipped and that maybe because he is off or more likely because of the lack of help he gets from his fellow midfield players, certainly whilst we are defending.
Unfortunately, what I have seen of late has shown he has his limitations as a player and having the likes of Fraser alongside him rather than Fraser playing in a more advanced no.10 role isn't helping either of them.
I also think we will all agree he is not a leader and him being Captain is as inspirational as Appleton on the sidelines with his hands in his pockets.

Average footballer at best would never get in to our 11/12 promotion winning team or our 18/19 side. For me he's one of the better players in a poor team.
