It's a non starter with Tottenham and Arsenal. Replace them with PSG and Bayern Munich and they might have something.

The reaction from the fans last time should be enough to put the English clubs off but of course, money talks!

Illegal or not, the fan reaction was what ended it. Hopefully that remains. I can't imagine it has changed

Disappointing that EUFA nations didn't announce that any players participating in this fake league would not be selected for international duty.

It’s all down to the football charter in this country now ? but you may find some European leagues going for it

Like it or not, I think a Super League will happen in some form eventually.
There's too much money to be made from it, and a lot of younger fans now are more interested in watching PSG, Real, Bayern, etc. than they are watching the smaller clubs in the Premier League.

A difference since first proposed, is the establishment of the Saudi league and the vast sums they have spent it so far. So no investment from them, also I would suspect active apposition to a rival league as well. They can out bid any league for players if they want.

Unless the Saudis decide to start the league/competition and drop a few of their clubs in it. £500m a season to participate and the Champions League is finished. That changes everything.

Are Saudi teams entering the Champions League?
