Really hope Tom recovers, he was a good player for us and not a surprise to me that he made it to the Premiership.
Probably not the time for it, but should this really be allowed to happen a second time in this day and age with all the medical information now available?

Better news coming through that Tom is sitting up and responsive. He is on his way to hospital but it's looking far more positive than it was earlier on.

Pretty nauseating to see a few high profile Charlton fans on Twitter finding it appropriate to give Tom Lockyer medical advice.
It’s Lockyer’s life and Lockyer’s career, he doesn’t need advice from armchair cardiologists.

If the medical advice is not to play again he should listen. Christian Ericsson did play again but Fabrice Mwamba did not. As this is the second incident my guess is it will be career ending but at least he will be alive.

As I said on another thread, I felt Tom would have been a Charlton captain if he had stayed. Engaging and intelligent. I'm sure that management, if he wants it, has to be on the cards.
