Winning 3-1 away at local rivals Barcelona and look set to go back to the top of La Liga, two points clear of Real Madrid, the only team to have beaten them this season.
Outstanding effort by them and what a magnificent job their manager Michel is doing.
Hats off to them, stunning performances this season, week in, week out.

Playing Athletico Madrid tonight. Just approaching HT and Girona are 3-2 up. Could have been 4-4 easily. Breathtaking football.

What a astonishing achievement by Girona this evening.
Trailing 1-2 at home to local rivals Barcelona, they come back and score three goals in 10 minutes including a worldy of a third from Portu, to win 4-2 and qualify for next season's champions league.
By far an away the biggest domestic achievement by a European Club this season. So pleased for them, their manager, Michel has done an amaxing job.
They had never beaten Barcelona until this season and they have thrashed them home and away in both games!
The result means that Girona leapfrog Girona into second position and Real Madrid are crowned champions.
