Is it time for some sort of VAR in league one … for the 5th time this season we have lost points due to a referee mistake .. the standard of referring in this league has dropped to all time low and it’s costing team promotion , money , managers their jobs and players their careers .
What is the point of linesman now ? it’s a complete joke .
So question is VAR yes or no
After what happened to us this season so far .. I say YES something has to be done

"VAR lite" is probably what most football fans would like.
So yesterday's penalty, they would check it was inside the area (it wasn't) and also whether it was a foul at all (it probably was). The first would take seconds, the latter might need some slow motion replays and that is where it gets trickier.
They would also have had to analyse both our penalties against Cheltenham (but probably both would stand. But there would have been a delay).
Some say up to 30 seconds per incident maximum otherwise the on-field decision stands.
Note that in the Palace vs Liverpool game yesterday a penalty was cancelled not because of the incident itself but a foul in the build-up. (Obviously correct decision!)
