This should be a stark wake up call to SE7 to get Alfie some REAL help.
Surprised the bloke can stand up right after carrying us so long.

Now that is a blow.
Surely today’s showing proves Tedic shouldn’t stick around. Aneke is not going to play a part this year or much next.
Investment needed in Jan!

January will be very revealing, in terms of learning what SE7 Partners ambitions are.
With Leaburn out for 5 months, Ness regressing, and Dobson & CBT in the final months of their contracts, it’s difficult to see where they can raise the money to break even this season, or even get close to it.
The squad needs a total rebuild, again .
Money could be freed up by sending much of the rubbish back - Watson x 2, Tedic, Abankwah, and by trying to sell duds like Fraser, McGrandles, Kirk, Edun, Thomas & Hector ….all of whom are underperforming, or just not good enough. There is no point in keeping Camara if he’s going to be plagued with injuries.
When you look at our squad of 25 as it stands, only 4-5 at most have any prospect of ever playing football at a higher level.
With a home attendance that fell below 6,000 v Cheltenham, it will be interesting to see SE7 Partners next move.
Fans are not daft, and are already voting with their feet.

if anything its a MUST to get cover for Albie, if not we have NOTHING up front.
The reliance upon Chucks has back fired again , who the hell is making these decisions, he should have been put out to pasture 2 seasons ago & replaced back then.
We've far too much reliance on the youth team , one question I have is , has Miles been over played , ie too much too soon ?

Lets face it Miles Leaburn is just potential - nothing more, nothing less.
Too many supporters get caught in the 'son of Carl Leaburn, Legend' headlights.
He's viewed by some as something he really isn't and maybe never will be.
He's been strolling around the pitch this season as if he's made it already.
We need a proper striker in as a partner and cover for May

Agree with some of what you say but not sure fans are there yet, Cheltenham was a cold Tues night… I was there :-) not surprised a few missed it!

Where do you get the idea that they're trying to breakeven? Most of the losses are baked in from day 1. Breakeven is for the future: in the Championship under the new media deal our turnover will approach £30M. Getting there is the fun part! Your assessment of how many might play at a higher lever isn't relevant! What we need is 15 players capable of delivering a top six finish ASAP - to match our budget. Let's not lose sight of the fact that our budget is competitive. Let's see where we are at the end of January 😉
