www.charltonafc.com/news/panutche-camara-injury-updatePanutche Camará will be sidelined for a significant period of time after suffering a hamstring injury during Tuesday's 3-2 win at Wigan Athletic. The midfielder, on loan from Ipswich Town, was forced off after 10 minutes at the DW Stadium. “It’s not good so there’s no point dressing it up," said Michael Appleton. "It’s going to be at least three months and obviously I feel for Pan. He’s worked ever so hard to get himself in a position to play and you can see the ability that he’s got. "He covers the ground very well and you could argue that he’s almost quicker with the ball than he is without the ball," added the Head Coach. He’s had issues in the past with is hamstring and he’s not had a great time of it with injuries over the last couple of years." Gutted for him. That's going to be a real blow for us with Taylor also out at the moment. The one area we looked stacked on for players and now it's looking less so. Although McGrandles is back training I think?

Should send him back to Ipswich.
Also we need to look at our signings and their backgrounds properly. Aneke who’s injury prone and Camara was injured all last season for Ipswich.

I tend to agree but last season was the first real season he's had major injury issues. I think the risk was worth it in his case as he's class for this level. If we'd been able to get the Pan of old then we'd have been laughing. I do think we should be thinking the loan hasn't worked though and free up some space for someone who is going to be around more.

It's unfortunate but he has to return to Ipswich and we have to find a replacement and move on.

Tough pill to swallow this one , if we got him fit he’d have been the best midfielder in the league. I would see what the estimated return could be. If it’s late Jan early Feb I’d keep him as a wildcard . Even if it meant we only have him for last 15-18 games plus possible playoff. I imagine chem and abankwah will go back too and maybe even Tedic if he don’t start playing.

I'm fairly sure we'll send him back to Ipswich because there's still the risk that he could have another set back or injury after the 3 months.
I wish him the best though.

Poor bloke but you can see the determination from his Twitter message.
Without any shadow of a doubt though, he’ll return to Ipswich for his rehab. We could get him on loan again in April if he regains full fitness.
