Speaking to a recently sacked manager who had a good start to the season at the weekend he said to me i honestly don’t know what these new type of owners want.

Rowett was good at the scum so this is great news, hopefully they'll get relegated now!

Seems harsh considering they are sat mid table. Also strange timing at the end of the international break. Why not at the start and let the new manager settle in (like Micky had)?

Interesting that their owner passes away and then someone makes, what looks like, a rash decision. Hopefully they have a new approach that will help them win relegation to where they belong.

This does actually sound like a mutual decision and not a sacking as such, which makes more sense. Both parties wanted a change.

They were nearly in the playoffs, blowing a 3-1 lead (that would have got them there) to lose 3-4 at home against Blackburn and miss out. I guess when that happens, you think how you blew it away, rather than the fact you were up there in the first place. And given that it was Luton who won the playoffs, they probably were thinking "could have been us". I'm sure had they got up, when they'd been playing against Palace both sets of fans would be having a laugh about us sitting in the middle of League One.

Kevin Muscat mmm Perhaps hoping for the Potsecoglou Aussie flavour of the month. When this prick joined Melbourne Victory, where he had a reasonable amount of success, i might add,I flipped Victory and joined Melbourne City

Come on SE7 stop plodding. Fuck Appleton off and bring in the best manager you'll get for your money before somebody else does.
It's a crime against football that MA finds himself in a job he's not good enough for while Rowatt is unemployed.

Yep, this with bells on, no brainer ,even with a transfer window the current guy will discard quality or play key players in the wrong positions Rowett would be ideal for us, you can only hope talks are going on behind the scenes

Rowatt, not pretty football but gets results and that's what we need to get out of this division. Muscat would be up there with the most unpopular club decisions ever If it ever came up which it wont Neil Warnock had his measure whenever his teams played against him I was there for the Matty Holmes game😡

The decision to part ways with Rowett, will hopefully come back and bite them on the arse. Hopefully Rowett will keep Birmingham up, and Bomber Harris, will bomb them down to division one..

Sorry to disappoint you, but our 1-0 away win at Sunderland today guarantees us Championship football next season - our 8th consecutive season in that division, I believe? Still, look on the bright side, that’s 6 points you won’t have lost against us next season had we gone down. Although it’s possible that Wrexham will do the double over you next season, and if that happens then you won’t be any worse off, points wise. Only joshing, of course, as it would be good to have another London Derby to play in (we only have QPR at the moment), so good luck for next season and hope to see you the season after in the Championship.

Am afraid that I am responsible for them staying up. They started winning after I put money on them to be relegated 🙄
