Whenever we play slow football from side to side at the back we rarely, if ever, up the tempo and generally play poorly and make it so easy for our opponents to defend against us.. yesterday v Blackpool was another example until Chuks came on and transformed our play (tempo).. against Exeter we drilled the passes up to the forward players and got rewarded for our faster play (tempo).. yesterday, for over an hour, it was dreadful!! This mustn’t happen again…

This mustn’t happen again… It won't be eliminated but needs to happen far less. This is a team thing so not just Aneke but all the subs contributed to a change in style. T. Campbell is a decent winger and also set up CBT. Appleton is learning every week. He needs to raise the bar over time. |
