Good to hear the ambition being shown and the demand for continued improvement. Not sure how I feel about the new terminology though, Men's First Team? Just reflecting the fact that there's also a Women's team I suppose?

Certainly talking the talk, and at this present time walking the walk. Carry on the good work 👍🏻

Agreed. In my view, the club now has the most professional management team in its history. Moreover, this highly experienced management team has been engaged to execute a clear and coherent strategy. There can never be any guarantee of success, but I’m really not sure what more we could reasonably expect.
This is as good as it gets in my view, unless, that is, you want a grizzilionaire to spend ‘whatever it takes’ to buy success. Funny thing is that most of those fans who have a propensity to protest claim that this is exactly what they don’t want.
I can’t even begin to understand the logic or motivation behind any ongoing cynicism. Mind you, to be fair, the cynics appear to be a lot less noisy right now. Stuffed full of humble pie I wonder?

I would say the club is going in the right direction and seems more professional than it's been for a very long time.

But Rick said they’re all con men and up to no good! Surely we’re bang in trouble??? In all seriousness, there have been massive changes already and a much more professional feel about the club! We are heading the right way.

CAST our minds back to late August and some thought we had no strategy, let alone the ability to execute 😉 www.castrust.org/2023/08/not-that-kind-of-club/

As ever in football, if you win regularly there is little reason to moan..

I think that Andy Scott should be congratulated for articulating the vision and setting an expectation level of fans being patient and personally, I like the openness….. the CAST link showed me that this band of merry men haven’t got a clue about about sports management….. Last Thursday, Steve Sutherland and Paul Elliot were at a Bromley Addicks meeting. There’s a good summary of that meeting on the site that can’t be named… if you read that within the context of the Scott interview, provides a great insight to where we were and where we are going

Onwards and upwards.......one step at a time! Andy Scott vision sounds impressive and I REALLY hope he is given the resources to carry it out. We are lagging behind so many in our off field structure in all aspects, not only is it reassuring AS recognises this,he's done the Job before helping other clubs on the way up. I especially liked the road to recovery comment, there is no quick fix sadly, but maybe the good ship Charlton has began to change course.
