Greetings from the US.
My son is traveling to London in a couple weeks as his team will be playing in the Heston International Cup versus the likes of QPR, Fulham, West Ham, Aston Villa, etc...as well as a couple friendlies versus Spurs and Wimbledon. Unfortunately, I can't attend (I am a college coach over here and in middle of season) so his mother is taking him. His team will be attending the Spurs/Fulham match on Oct 23 but he really wanted to attend a CAFC match so I bought them tickets to the Reading match on Oct 21. While I am bummed to not be able to go with them, I am super pumped they get to experience that atmosphere! So jealous. I guess my question is...what would be a good location for them to grab some food and a drink (mom only) prior to/after the match and perhaps experience some more of the CAFC match day atmosphere? They are staying out by Wembley so it will take some doing getting there and I am sure they will be famished! Thank you and best of luck v Blackpool on the weekend!
