He's a Charlton fan, it's a shame it hasn't worked out for him but hopefully he'll bounce back somewhere else and be a success.

Rangers is a massive job, one of the highest pressure jobs in the whole of football. A huge club. He's had a lot of injuries to key players but his signings simply haven't worked out, as yet. Not a lot of money available yet they're expected to win their domestic league and compete in Europe. Finishing second in The SPL is seen as failure and they'll be lucky to finish second this year. Scottish football is probably at it's lowest standard for many years and Rangers are still not challenging. Celtic are way ahead of Rangers but are quite a poor side, probably mid-table English Championship. I like Rangers, I'm British but I wouldn't put money on them or Celtic being serious players on the European stage ever again! |
