It will affect his earnings though because when his contract expires at the end of June 2025 nobody will offer him a new one. He’ll then spend the rest of his life wondering what might have been. Fair enough though. You’re entitled to your opinion. I appreciate yours too. We've all got our own experiences. I've lost jobs over illness and injuries. So my views won't align with everyone's I agree that footballers are incredibly lucky to have long-term contracts which mean they get paid whether they perform or not. It’s an almost unique situation. There’s an element of trust involved in these contracts which requires players to do their best even when they may not need to. I suspect the vast majority respect that trust but there are no doubt some that don’t.

Time for Taylor to step up, also like to see Watson or is he still injured? Definitely prefer two up top as well!
