Not sure if anyone is watching todays game.
DJ playing up front should give you an idea.
McGrandles looks so poor.
Kirk disinterested. (Pretends to be shocked)
Seen us nearly lose it twice whilst in possession as last man. Lukcily recovered before conceeding.
New GK Prince seems to be a sweeper keeper. Nearly at the half way line (whilst we had the ball in defence) at one point. Bold.
Dabo has looked ok.

0-0 half time, bit of a bore fest really, game almost being played at walking pace. Kirk, DJ and McGrandles should be stand out, far from it, all three look disinterested.
Dabo was neat and tidy at RWB, set up two glorious chances for DJ and McGrandles, needless to say they both missed although in fairness the keeper did make a good save from DJ, but it should have been buried really.
Hoping for a bit more second half!

Just in addition the new keeper is playing in all light blue which clashes with the Wigan colours, I keep thinking our defenders have passed straight to them! He likes to play a sweeper role.

This is familiar. Lot's of possession and some chances. Barely needing to defend but are now 1-0 down.
Edit: Defensive error from Roddy as well!

Who is playing the striker role? DJ was. Not sure who is now. Stopped watching for a few minutes and missed 3 goals. So no idea what has happened! Sounds like something contraversial happened with an injury and goal at the end.. |

Ended 2-2, Wigan are extremely lucky to be going back north with a point! We should have scored at least 6!
Around 70 minutes I was thinking that I hadn't seen the Prince make a save yet, but of course the curse of the defensive mistake happens (Roddy) and they are through and scored! Before that, we had missed at least 4 sitters!
On 60 minutes Dabo and DJ were subbed, DJ was slightly better in the second, but not by much. Dabo looks very tidy, can pick a pass and got involved. Downside he looks very small and today was not the day to see if he can defend or not.
McGrandles was better in the second half and so he should have been. Then we come to Kirk! How we are ever going to get rid of him I'll never know, absolutely hopeless, if any scout was watching him today, they had a wasted journey. Talk about stealing a living!
On the plus side, Elewere, Mitchell and Kedwell were our best players and Ladapo looked a handful in his short cameo.
Oh well another game that we should have won comfortably, hey ho!

The Prince made a save about 10 to 15 mins in in the first half.
The controversy was one of our players us tackled roles off the pitch and then showed signs of cramp. Then one of our players walks off the pitch to give him treatment for cramp. The ref stops play and Wigan are furious.
5 mins later two more Charlton players go down with cramp on the pitch and the ref cries on playing.
Big concern is, is how unfit are players are. They had one case of cramp just as the final Whistle blew.
