Very few things hit me emotionally, the response Nathan Asiimwe got from the Charlton fans as he was substituted and then had the long walk around the pitch was brilliant. Every fan stood up to applaud as he walked past them. It would of been so easy to do the opposite after his mistake for the goal but no we applauded the kid for the 110% effort he had put in, he could barely walk he was that tired. Proud to be CAFC.

Nice post Damo. I have been so impressed with that young man. Totally agree. Nathan was out on his feet from 80 mins and Holden or Senda should have realised that and subbed him. |

It’s fantastic how the majority of our fans encourage the youngsters.
Asiimwe has been quality from the pre-season into these early games and I’m going to enjoy watching his progress while he is still here.
I really hope the club quickly signs Dabo or/and another so we can give Asiimwe the rest he will definitely need.
