Free Charlton Athletic FC tickets for residents Residents can apply for free tickets to home games at Charlton Athletic, our local League One football club. Tickets are limited and issued on a first come first served basis.
To request tickets, email beverley.marchant@royalgreenwich.gov.uk at least a week before the date of the game to be considered

You must tell us:
your preferred game your full name, address and date of birth your email address and contact number whether you want a print at home ticket or a mobile ticket You can get up to two tickets per household to one game only but you are welcome to submit a first and second choice. Tickets are for the person named only and cannot be passed on or sold to others.
Tickets are available for the following home games:
Bristol Rovers, Tuesday 15 August, 7.45pm Port Vale, Saturday 19 August, 3pm Fleetwood Town, Saturday 2 September, 3pm Wycombe Wanderers, Saturday 23 September, 3pm Exeter City, Tuesday 3 October, 7.45pm Blackpool, Saturday 7 October, 3pm Bolton Wanderers, Saturday 28 October, 3pm The tickets are available to residents as part of our Greenwich Supports campaign to help people during the cost-of-living crisis.
To support your local team you can buy tickets to the games.

I think it's a good idea. TS had the idea to look to encourage more people through the door and then get them returning as fans.
Nothing wrong with that at all imo. The execution of this was not good.
Plus the one thing you need to encourage people to come back is a team that's exciting, winning games, playing exciting football and a great atmosphere. We didn't always have the wins or exciting football.
