It's our ability to pick up fragile players.. This is exactly it. I don't like excuses from managers when we have just lost to a side we should be beating. Part of the reason we lost was too many changes. I doubt he would have used Fraser, Jones and Asiimwe last night anyway so please don't offer their absence as an excuse just because you picked the wrong side.

Our team is good enough to beat Peterborough with a few injuries.

Our team is good enough to beat Peterborough with a few injuries. It was only just good enough to beat Leyton Orient with no injuries.

It's our ability to pick up fragile players.. I disagree here. Aneke to me is the only one in that list that you can say is injured a lot. Egbo last year was out quite a bit but doesn't appear to have a record of injuries. The others aren't people who are injured a lot. We do still have some fragile players but far less than we were used to. The problem with getting a reputation (Like 'we have injury prone players') is it's hard to get away from once you have it. Too many of our fans will joke about "another one injured" or "we only sign injured players". Every team gets injuries at different times. We've probably got some fans even now saying our 'medical team isn't good enough' again or 'our pitch isn't up to scratch' or 'training is too tough', etc. Most of it is luck. Miles injury was a challenge for example. Campbell's was too. Lot's of knocks in our injury list. Can you imagine the meltdown if we had signed Smith who is now out for months? "bloody pitch again" Let's see how long they are out for. Fraser and Egbo for example might be back by the weekend.

Out of interest, does anyone know the player, who was late reporting in, on Saturday? Maybe Reams?

Not for me to say but he wasn't in the squad.
Sessegnon arrived at 3.20pm so if he's signed but we don't know it yet it was definitely him as he sat three rows down from me and walked past my seat to get to his. That said I was told he was there to support the lads liek Clare was at a pre-season game.

Obviously against Peterborough we need to "do a job" on JCH but not sure if that's enough. Where Darren Pratley came in useful in the past. And Ryan Inniss when he wasn't getting himself sent off.

Bizarre to lose three right backs to injury in the same match!!!
Can't see how we fill the gap unless we have CBT, already out of position change sides and unfit Edun as LWB. Much prefer 4-3-3 playing 4 CBs.
I can see Rylah or Ladapo being drafted in, despite no 1st team training, if Campbell also out.

Heat maps for the Southend game suggest that the players actually delivered a 3-4-3 given CBT was so far forward. Asiimwe's game was spread between defence, midfield and attack. Wonder if he will be fit?
