Richie Wellens tears into referee's and Colchester's pitch

Leyton Orient manager Richie Wellens wasn't happy with the referee in their 2-1 defeat at Colchester yesterday.

Seems like Troy Archibals who they had sent off, will be ok to play as it was just a friendly game yesterday.

I'm not sure that's the case. I'm convinced friendly or not it carries a ban.

Seems like they have pitched up a couple of injuries too.

I think a straight red for violent or dangerous play gets a ban (even in a friendly). Two yellows never does, a red for something like deliberate handball or simply preventing a goalscoring opportunity will also not get you a ban.
