Anybody know if there had been a surge in ST sales since the takeover?… I think around 4,500 were sold as early birds?.. Any update is appreciated I thought we'd sold 6,000? I'm not sure it'll go up a lot more as many of those that were always going to buy one will have done so, already. I suspect that some fans will have decided to go match to match as the saving (post early bird discount) is not great and if you get online as soon as games are 'released' you should be able to get your favoured seat. I had a season ticket in 2021-22 and it cost me significantly more than going match by match would have done as I missed a few games and last year, without a season ticket, I saved a small fortune. I haven't seen the stats but I would imagine that the ability to watch the football at home will have a significant effect. The days of rushing home and having a disgruntled partner waiting to go out for the evening, when you can watch it on your tele and be ready to go at 5pm, are probably gone for many. When the only way to watch the match was to be there I would arrange all my friend's and family's social events around home games - and change some if the fixtures were moved. I haven't done that for three years and I can't imagine I would get away with it now.

Currently on the official site, 8000 Sold "Charlton have passed 8,000 season tickets for the 2023/24 season following a sizeable increase in sales in recent weeks." Source: www.charltonafc.com/news/join-over-8000-season-ticket-holders-se7That's good news! Glad they have seen an upturn with those holding out with their season tickets until TS left.

I haven't done that for three years and I can't imagine I would get away with it now. ST sales are now up to 8,000. The question is how many fans like you might avail of the offer to offset your Orient ticket and rejoin the ST fold. - just think of having priority for cup games - less admin and possible saving for fans Given that there are usually 2,000 walk up purchases and c.2,000 comps plus away fans, it seems gates will almost certainly increase this season. 6,000 walk up sales last Saturday seems incredibly high so the takeover and messaging has certainly had an impact. Here's hoping increased ticket sales and improved commercial revenues feed into the playing budget plus improvements at Sparrows Lane. C'mon kings hill addick do your bit - you know you want to!
