Just received confirmnation that Edun has signed.
It will be announced either tonight or in the morning!
I was told yesterday to be honest hence why I said we want to sign a perm LWB given the fact that we have not had one of our own for around three years and relied on loans.
I also added that would all depend on Tayo dropping his wage demands which I assume he has.
Another very good signing.
Another CB, left footed, a No.10 or midfielder capable of getting into double figures, right sided midfielder and a striker and I'll be happy!

Now that is another really good signing and at last we have a left sided wing back to play in the system that Holden plans to play👍
Now for a new right wing back and strike partner for May and we will then be really competitive come Saturday week against the O’s
Think we will get in 4/5 more after Edun, one a forward on a fee and 4 loans

No pretty much about it. I have an email telling me he passed his medical and signed last night.
I'm guessing that yesterday just wan't the right day to announce it. Would have been inappropriate given the passing of Chris Bart-Williams.
Should be announced officially before tonight's game.

In the bigger picture this is such an improvement to the antics of the last few summers. Note the club's language "priority to fill the left sided defensive slot" BEFORE the kick off vs Orient. Right now they are picking up jigsaw pieces at the rate of one per week. Here's hoping they soon add a decent midfielder so as to boost competition as well as enable rotation. And provide coverage for injuries / loss of form right up until January window. And welcome Tayo Edun! |

I can see this being the end of Dobson or McGrandles myself. Henry has to go out on loan either way. Surely your not suggesting Dobsons not good enough ? Dobson has been our most consistent player for 2 seasons. Are you suggesting we might sell him ? Mcgrandles and Henry are nowhere as good as Dobson. Sorry,but confused. Camara (is only on loan), Tayo Edun plus terry Taylor (if we get him) sounds good .Healthy competition and cover for I like, but hope Dobson is a starter. |

It's not an either/or, there's 50 games this season, the starting 3 won't play all 50. 50 games x 3 midfield slots = 1350 minutes. We actually need five decent midfielders playing around 2,500 to 3,000 minutes each. Top players will often miss ten games through injury, plus a couple through suspension. Last season we had Fraser and Dobson plus a choice of not so good alternatives. |

Interesting this, hopefully he signs based on the reviews but i don’t know much about him… better than Dobson is a strong statement IMO - hopefully he lives up to it |
