Had to cancel a friendly at a non league team because they can’t raise a team  Surely they have under 23 and 18 ? Can you imagine the meltdown with this was Charlton lol |

Seems a bit strange as they have a different eleven playing each half in a friendly today. Bit of a kick in the teeth for Guiseley who would have been hoping for a big crowd for the match.

That doesn’t sound good. Could be another team starting on minus points? For the Tykes and their fans it’s not good but for their competitors such as ourselves this could reduce our top 6 odds given that Barnsley were very competitive last season. It’s a cruel and tough eco system in the EFL! |

Reading it Barnsley reported themselves to the EFL ? Is that to avoid points being deducted?

Barnsley have just cancelled a second pre season friendly as they can't raise a team. This time against Mansfield.
