Have you any idea how much abuse, some of it racial, he received following the 4-0 loss at Peterborough in the first leg of the play-off's? . Horrible club and even worse fans. Good for him for walking away. I can see him going back to the club he played for and captained, West Brom if their manager goes to Leeds. |

Call me cynical but I can’t see a manager, under contract, walking away unless he has another job lined up. |

Moore comes across as thoroughly decent bloke in the same mould as Holden You could see how the much the Wednesday players loved him by the speech Bannan gave after the Peterborough come back game Think Moore will be back in management very soon and whichever club gets him will be fortunate to have him |

I have always disliked Sheffield Wednesday and their entitled tosspot supporters- Darren Moore was the only good thing about them and of course their vile core showed itself all to clearly.
Good luck in the future Darren and I hope the Millwall of Sheffield crash and burn through the leagues.

The usual “mutual consent” gets mentioned.. I’ve never known what this really means… It, basically, means that a financial agreement has been reached that ensures that neither side discloses what has happened or the sequence of events that led up to it. It can mean that both parties want a change so they agree to go their separate ways. However, I suspect that means that there has been a difference of opinion that has made the position untenable, and the owner isn't going to leave... |

But what did the owner have in mind and why wasn't Moore on a rolling contract with bonus and payrise fixed in the event of promotion? To be honest, not that fussed about errors by other clubs. As long as we make less mistakes then we might soon catch up with the likes of Wednesday, Ipswich and the rest of the Championship (without parachute monies). |

I know a personal friend of Darren and he had enough of the owner. Best for both parties he left. Will hopefully get something decent soon.
