The Addicks will take on League Two champions Leyton Orient in a pre-season friendly during the club’s trip to Spain. Anyone going? I’ve always fancied it, ticking it off my bucket list. Saying I’ve seen us in Europe but the prices are high. Looking at £1000 all in for 3 days roughly.

It'll be interesting to see what kids go to Spain. I'm sure such as Kanu, Elewere and Mitchell having had exposure will go. But Asiimwe, Rylah and Anderson? Also the three yet to sign. I'd guess we'll take at least 22. Will the returning loanees get invited or be told to stay and sort a move?

Tickets for Charlton's final pre-season friendly against Aberdeen at The Valley go on sale at 2pm on June 15th.
Dean Holden's men round off their pre-season preparations against the Scottish Premiership outfit on Saturday, July 29th (1pm KO BST) - just one week before the start of the 2023/24 League One campaign. Do find it strange that we don’t even know what team we’ve got.

Putting these tickets on sale six weeks before the game is ridiculous.
There are however discounts whicg are below.
I wouldn't worry too much about what squad we'll have by then either.

I’m told by a reliable source that ticket sales for the Welling game are fast approaching 1,000. They’ve got a new manager but currently only four registered players.
My source is expecting some announcements “soon” - with his fingers tightly crossed in anticipation!

Got mine yesterday. £15 adults, £5 kids under 11. Hopefully give Welling a good payday and none of the rubbish from last season where we took a % of takings.

They’re not expecting anything soon but the new manager - Danny Bloor - is said to know the league well. The belief is that, as with us, new players will be a mixture of signings for money, frees and loans. Nothing earth shattering but their fans say he’s brought some much needed stability to the club. |

Can't see any shots of Aneke, Kirk or McGrandles (in the photo's posted along with this one). I think I saw one of Kirk in a group of three chatting. I think he was saying "why don't you guys give me decent passes?" Worrying that no sign of Aneke. Perhaps Mcgrandles is off to Cambridge? |

McGrandles is in the video from today.
I said on here last season why we won't see much of Aneke at this time of year and I think it's a subject we should leave alone.

Welling update - they now have nine first team players and have sold approaching 2,000 tickets for the match on Saturday.
Every effort is being made to have a full eleven but it is expected that a number of trialists and makeweights will feature for the Wings.

I’ve been asked to remind anyone thinking of going to Welling tomorrow that it’s an all ticket match and no cash will be taken at the turnstiles.
Turn up without a ticket and you won’t get in (which as far as I can see could be a problem if loads of fans arrive ticketless).
Edit: it doesn’t help that the Wings web site is currently unavailable due to “maintenance “.
