I watched the stream of the first half. A bit lucky with a few shots but we scored some very nice goals. The last was a volley into the far corner.
Lovely to see. Hopefully they can win the next one!

We have been constantly good at this level for some years, what we need is sensible investment through out the playing staff, we then might be able to hang on to the more outstanding youngsters for a couple of more seasons. In the current situation that ain't going to happen, sad!

I was there. I posted on the other forum but to recap agree strong performance and Pearce was calm throughout. Just a few small tweaks to individual performances.
Their coach didn’t shut up the whole game.
Some of our players are old beyond their years.
Thought Shef tried some cheap wind up tactics but we let our feet do our talking.

Was there and agree with above. A wonderful game of attacking/passing football from us. Zac Mitchell really is a gem.

Love that Kone was venturing up nearly to centre circle, and dummying those closing down. In the 1st team our defenders often don't get that far forward when we are in the last third.

Negatives, despite their overall good play, both Kanu and Rylah must be over 6ft and 75kg yet get very easily brushed off the ball.
Perhaps we could get Charlie McD or Dion Burton in as a striker coach.
