Hi, I'm coming down for the Vale game at the weekend and would appreciate some advice about parking. Don't mind paying a bit as long as it's not too far from the Valley - I'm in my 70s and have dodgy knees so don't want to walk too far. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It depends a bit on how far is too far. You can park on the road for free but you’re probably looking at a 15-20 min walk. Or you can book a space on a parking app like Yourparkingspace for maybe a tenner or a bit less that could get you within 5-10 mins. Or there’s the West Stand car park at the stadium but it’s expensive (about £40?) and you have to book ahead.

Get a blue badge. Play up the bad knee. Imagine it was a chemist you are straggling with rather than a football ground.
Most authorities will give you one if you lay it on thick.
