Maybe Martin wants a new change in career??
Shame a new owner cannot come in with a proper American marketing plan for this stagnant club.

The biggest issue is we're losing people who have been there for a while and keeping the back-fills. That will do nothing for future prospects. I know others have mentioned Arthur Blank as a name but I would've thought if someone of his wealth wanted the club it'd be done by now.
I'll still be ordering my season ticket but I really have no hopes of anything above mid-table next year.

It is just possible that the role that Ravi is taking at Orient is vacant but a similar position is not available at Charlton.
Unless senior people leave there will not be openings for internal promotions as and when out staff are ready for a new challenge.
Sometimes people need to change employer to 'step up' or to take on a new challenge.
There is no suggestion that Ravi has been sacked or forced out.

You’re right, of course, kings hill addick that we don’t know the background to Ravi Patel’s move to Leyton Orient. People change jobs all the time and for lots of different reasons. This might be a promotion for him, but all other things being equal it’s not unreasonable to imagine that Charlton would represent a more attractive option for a football executive, and that it would be a better payer, than Leyton Orient. The suspicion therefore is that this is yet another experienced executive who finds Captain Fantastic very difficult to work with and who has, as result, decided to move on. In any event, whatever the background, good luck to him.

Been stated elsewhere, that it is a better package and more staff...
