I agree he has been really good this year, but he is still one of them.

The Charlton POTY award is the most prestigious award in South London, possibly the whole city and arguably the country. To descerate it by giving it to anyone on the P@//@ce payroll, insults the honour and embarrasses football.

I genuinely can't stand the thought of our POTY going anywhere near p@//@ce

When he comes to his senses and joins a proper team (ideally in South London) I'll be the first to give him a welcoming big wet sloppy kiss.

I like the Palace lad but tend to agree with Smudge. We can’t have Palace having our player of the year.

I couldn’t care less that he is a Palace player. The title is Player Of The Year and he has been our POTY. Without him we would be struggling big time.

My pick is for Dobbo again.

The only 3 who are really in potential are

1 Leaburn. it has been a great year for him and he has played his socks off. But he has missed a lot of games due to injury, which is not his fault, But game time has to come into the mix for POTY.

2 Rak- Sakyi. Like Leaburn he has been great for us this year and would love for him to come back next year. But he is a loan player who has come here for game time to move up the ladder, which he has got, and has a very bright future. But his game time was too inconsistent for me when he was hot he was fantastic. But when the game was not going our way he was poor. That is just because he is young and needs more time to grow.

3 Dobbo. He plays this heart out every time he is on the pitch. Look how many times he broke up plays or save us with a last-minute tackle. Yes he is not as flashy as Leaburn of Sakyi, but that's not his job, the goal scorers get all the praise and glory whilst players time Dobbo gets overlooked. He is the backbone of our team and in my mind he deserves POTY.

Dobbo. He has held this team together in rough times. He has a real footballing brain and eye - he anticipates all the time and is there at the right time and place to break up opposition attacks. I think people have become so used to his consistency that they are beginning to take him for granted. Curbs has got it right when he says Dobbo is the one player who would get into one of his teams.

What a silly post. I don’t care if a player has played for Palace or is on loan from Palace. While he is here he is a Charlton player. Without his goals and assists we would be struggling to stave off relegation. It is a real no brainer.

You don't cheer when he scores I take it? I voted for him because he deserves it,anyone who gets your bum off the seat like he does in a poor team deserves it.
