A display with a lot of apathy today and even the crowd is becoming more and more quiet.. any aggression has left the team, in my opinion, and the end of the season can’t come soon enough… it’s all just run out of legs! Mid table mediocrity is well and truly here..

I think even the most optimistic of us knew by Oct / Nov that we didn’t have the quality to challenge for promotion We were in dire need of a change of recruitment strategy / team but we have ended up where are again. I had high hopes when Scott came on that things would be different but all that went pear shaped and regardless of the new owners ambition to build a side to challenge next season I simply can’t see that happening with the same personnel in situ
My concern this season was that we could collapse and be fighting a relegation battle if lost key players long term like Dobson, Leaburn and Rak-Saki ….. only by good fortune this hasn’t happened…

I can’t disagree… my thinking was more to do with the crowd intensity, the “buzz” in the ground, the lack of tempo.. it all feels like everything has been deflated..

I'm afraid this season ran out of legs before it started and if this summer is something similar, we at the very best will be in a relegation battle.

[br All depends on the budget and who is spending it….if we still have Gallen and Sangaard heavily involved we will get the same outcome as this season and probably worse

We were on the back foot as soon as we didn't sign the striker(s) that everyone knows we needed. We got lucky with CL, but hes not the answer on his own.
On the other hand Wycombe had everything to play for and for much of the game we were the better side, so I think DH is keeping them motovated if only for their contracts.
Regarding the crowd, there is a bit of acceptance that there is nothing on it now, not even relegation. Mind you, I did enjoy the "you've got more pigeons than fans" chant from the away fans.

Mid table mediocrity is well and truly here.. Disagree think the crowd was very good got behind the team and players sung for most of the game .. . as Holden said he can’t allow the players to stop playing and yesterday performance showed that the players battled and got stuck in and played for the shirt
