Just some notes I took from the Fans Forum that were not expressly mentioned on the Wesite. Nothing too controversial:
Breaking even is against the objective of obtaining a top 6 league position.
DH has the final say on football matters but of course the owner still holds the purse strings.
Dh is a great believer of a good preseason and he will expect those kept on and new players to have that. Pre-season with him will be hard. One of the reasons that he would hope to get players in early.
Ryan Sessignon has a prior knee problem that means that his training regime is different to the others. They are trying to find a solution to Chuks, and the player himself is gutted he can’t play.
Why Bonne -he still has 9 games to prove himself, but he hopes one goes in off his arse.
Improvements to pitch and training ground already underway. The pigeons are a distraction for players and a solution is being found.
No one seemed to be sure why Cat 1 status was turned down and hopefully will be granted “when” in the Championship. Maybe get a better answer from Steve Avory.
ST prices 31st March aimed a providing a balance between covering increased costs and affordability of fans. Obviously going up!
SMT – Rodwell also passed the EFL fit and proper test
Complaints were made about the Club shop. PS said that he hadn’t had time to look at that yet. Lack of program sales was noted, late and expensive kit, calendars had to be bought from the ticket office and generally a shortage of anything not Castore. It is in hand to be looked at but obviously no changes will happen before next season. There is the matter of a 3 year (I think) contract with Castore.
Hopefully some of that might be of interest. I came out more positive than I went in, particularly with DH.
