Kyrell Lisbie son of Kevin helped himself to his first goals in Welling fc colours with a hat-trick last night. Maybe we should have bought this guy in instead of Bonne. He’s only 19 and already been at West Ham, Watford and Woodford Town. Maybe the Wings will be the making of him and he might be a player to watch (if we have a scouting system, which I doubt), but sign him now, I don’t think so.

To be fair to Bonne he working his soaks off on his own without little support from mid and total lack of service from the wide players Haaland would struggle to score on our side If we had Haaland he'd score bucket loads. He'd just take the ball from the defenders and run the length of the pitch and score on his own. Bonne is 💩 and couldn't hit the net from a yard out hence why no one passes him the ball What about Stockley Aneke and Leaburn all struggled playing the line role … again Tuesday how many of our crosses, corners failed to beat the first man or far too deep … If Bonne was missing chance after chance then you could question him but he not because our lone striker not getting the chances .. If was Bonne who hit the post fir Raki to score few weeks back chance made by himself

Bonne is awful, why do you think QPR cancelled his contract. Why do you think we only offered him a short term contract?

At least we have the opportunity to release him in the Summer.

Granted he hasn't had many chances but his all round game is awful. We replaced Stockley with like for like. You can even argue that Stockley is a slightly better player. Cannot see Bonne being offered a new contract in the summer so where he goes from us can only be downwards.

We ain't getting promoted until we unearthed another Lyle Taylor or BWP , it's know coincidence that both promotions from league 1 featured a decent striker.

Bonne is awful. He may improve a little as he might be rusty but he’s never going to be that great. His finishing is erratic to say the least.
However, in defence of him or any striker that plays for us. Our wide men aren’t really crossers of the ball. They are far more likely to cut inside and make chances for themselves. This massively reduces the chances for a striker and why Stockley had zero chance to work in this system with these players.
It has meant JRS and CBT have scored a good number of goals between them. It just means it’s slim pickings unless you can make some chances for yourself as a striker.

I think it's been utterly appalling and one of the main reasons why our strikers (especially Stockley) have struggled so badly.

Cannot see Bonne being offered a new contract in the summer so where he goes from us can only be downwards. He'll, probably, sign for Orient and promise them that he has unfinished business with them. In the end he'll be back in his Primary School team claiming he has unfinished business with them, too. And he'll still not score goals.

It's almost as though our tactics don't suit strikers. Technically isn't even Leaburn a winger?
Bonne needs to do so much more. The amount of shots that the likes of CBT and JRS have he should be getting into positions to get the rebounds, but he just often doesn't seem to know where he is, probably explains why he is offside all the time. Let's face it if could score goals he wouldn't be with us.

I am pleased that Dean Holden, dealt with it the way that he did. Sets an example to others.. But in all honesty, not many are that dopey. I suppose Gilbey, but he had all but gone anyway.

It helps, of course, that Bonne is, frankly, rubbish and contributes virtually nothing of value. I was very disappointed that we were linked with him last August, flabbergasted when we signed him in January, and am delighted that he has gone.

Agreed mate but what is more of a worry is that the people who chased him and recruited him back to the club are still in situ….. that’s the scary bit Roll on the takeover and a new recruitment team / process put in place

He has finally found something he might be able to do on a Saturday afternoon, "watching football", coz he sure can't play it!

I thought he may have been hungry and have a point to prove but I was very very wrong- to all those that said as much- you were unequivocally correct. He was a waste of oxygen.

I felt the same mate, thought he would grasp the chance and kick on. The naievity of the social media posts was staggering,we are well rid of characters like that.
