Totally ridiculous in my humble opinion.. he’s been a shining light on the left wing..

I assume he has a recall. Given DJ’s injury it seems an odd choice.
Great for Clayden as he needs games and experience and being so local is ideal. Standard isn’t bad in NL either as we know from the teams there and their budgets!

I’m personally a little surprised at this. He seemed ok when he played for the first team. He is 22, so I guess that may have played a part. But we also forced him into LB role when he’s a winger. Maybe we have a buy back option. Doubt it

Lots going out on loan atm. Saving money? There is probably an element of cost saving here, but Dean Holden has also said he wants a smaller squad and then, more recently, a core of players that plays every game. It must be tough managing a large group of players, knowing that many of them will rarely get any game time and this must be especially true of young players who want to play, develop and get their careers moving. I’ve sometimes felt we’ve hung on to some of our youngsters a bit too long. Ben Dempsey is a good example. I’m delighted to see he’s now playing regularly for Ayr United in the Scottish Championship, but he never looked quite good enough for League One. The margins between success and failure are very fine and football in the National League is a very high standard. Clayden wasn’t a regular starter when on loan at Bromley and I wasn’t surprised. Bromley have a left wing back called Harry Forster. Same age as Clayden, ex Watford’s academy and he looks a better player. Good luck to him at Wealdstone. If he ends up playing regularly at League One or above he’ll be one of the few we’ve released and who have then gone past us.

Yes very few indeed but Brandon Hanlon was bright today and may do so if Sandgaard remains at the helm … even if he manages to steer clear of the rocks
