Bonne is shit though to be fair. Stockley scored 9 goals in 65 games in the championship for Preston. Bonne scored 11 in 36 for us in the same division. Bonne was class on occasions, definitely has ability. Can't really see him becoming consistent... but if BG can improve him and we can sign McKirdy that would be a better transfer window than I expected. |

Bonne scored 1 goal in his last 30 for Ipswich last year, if he does come in he won't be in any form or confidence, he could be a slow burner.

That leaves us Jaden who doesn't suit the system and Macca whose confidence is probably down. The only time we got promotion without prolific strikers was under Lennie. |

I don't like the existence of the winter transfer window. It's not too far fetched to assume that TS is first willing to see if BG and the current squad are going to work out, and if close enough to top 6 maybe add a striker then.
Either
a/ transfer windows should run from the last day of the season till the first day of the new season, or
b/ clubs should be able to sign players all year long
The current format has become a shitshow.

The most annoying thing about this is we’re a couple of key signings off mounting a real challenge. Sandgaard clearly doesn’t want or have the facilities to make that happen. To not even put out some kind of notice when hundreds, if not thousands of Charlton fans have been on social media interested in our business.
Not to mention the given point of we should be waiting til the death to conduct our business. If we’re playing a season with Stockley, Aneke and Leaburn as our strike options it’s going to be a piss poor season I’ll tell you that now.
