What a statement that is. Just listened to him after the game. What a thoroughly nice guy he is too.
He plays on the edge and it doesn't always come off but he was magnificent tonight as was Washington.
He spoke really well tonight and mentioned the team spirit that is in the dressing room.
Sandgaard's next two decisions are to announce JJ as our new manager and bring in a third striker who will be wanting to start and pushing Connor and Jayden to do so. That can only be a good thing.

It would be great to keep Stockley long term, we are 18 months away from the PL

Talisman. Score's goals, leads the line, loves Brent. My Striker. What does David Brent have to do with it? Understand that he lives in Godstone which is just 20 mins up the road from me. But in tier 3 he is highly effective.

Ah I least I got the Brent thread correct … I couldn’t imagine him liking the London Borough of Brent 🥴

Well that's changed from what JJ told us when he was absent from the last league game. Wouldn't surprise me if his services are not being sought after elsewhere to be honest, why stay at a club that is going nowhere fast? Washington is a strange one given we haven't played a league game for a couple of weeks.

The longer we have to play without Stockley and Washington the chances are that the goals will dry up (if they haven’t already) and the quicksand of the relegation zone gets ever closer.
Wednesday is the first of many important games during the next few weeks. Davison is not the answer and for all his youthful endeavour Burstow needs time to hone his talent, time we simply don’t have.

Reports elsewhere suggesting he may be out for the remainder of the season and that is why Aneke has come back.

Official from JJ is that he should be back in next two weeks .. Nope that’s not what he said….he said we will have a better idea on the injury in two weeks time…..that’s a big difference……😳

Miracle recovery or did his move fall through? Or just a genuine injury. No miracle recovery has taken place and no rumours circulating about a sale.

The same bloke who signed Souare and Kirk. Yep! And the same one who signed the first team squad that has won seven of the last 14 league games, bar Morgan and Burstow. When one looks at the tens of millions spent by Meire and Driesen 2014-2018 then Gallen and others don't look too bad. Far more needs to be spent on 22-25 year olds such as Dobson and Clare. We need to acquire players with potential to improve.

Spoke to guy sitting a couple of seats away from me last Sat Fleetwood game. Asked him about Stockley (as he works full time at Sparrows Lane). He told me last week Jayden was just training in the Gym not outside, but this week maybe training outside. So no miracle recovery and transfer talk just a wind up!

We need to acquire players with potential to improve. Sure, Gallen doesn't look too bad but since Roland has left we have gone backwards each season. I do not think it's a coincidence that as the club has spent less money on wages and transfers we have fallen further and further down the league pyramid. Value for money is an honourable target, but success on the pitch is the only thing that, really, matters. Roland funded a promotion winning squad, Sandgaard may well have stopped spending as much money, but it is reflected in the league position.

Gallen only brought in what he did because RD game him the money to do it. Without any dosh he is useless. Again all this comes back to who the owner is. We saw the likes of Buyens and Gudmundsson under RD but under the Sandgaard regime we are seeing utter tosh.

Clear out this summer and ensure that Gallen has the appropriate budget so as to land whatever it takes to make us a top six club again. Nobody can take promotion for granted but what we are seeing currently isn't going to have fans queuing up to renew their STs.

How much do we need to give him to get it right? He signed Souare and Kirk in the summer and we are looking to offload them a few months later. On top of that considering we are meant to be building for next season, if Browne comes in that makes it three new signings who are all injury prone? Can you see where we are going wrong?
