Looked lost today, hardly involved at all. It's a bit early to assume, though one has to wonder if he's head been turned by recently speculation. If He doesn't want to sign a new contract then he can go. Hold your horses, mate. Everyone is allowed an off game once in a while, creative players more so.

Campbell have been playing him in throughout September. Tuesday night may show us CBT in form again?

If He doesn't want to sign a new contract then he can go. I doubt that’s a factor, yet. CBT is inconsistent and always has been. What I would say though is that having T Thomas LB did make it a tougher task as anything that went through Thomas made it more difficult as he’s not great on the ball. He can’t play quick passes into feet or drag a player out of position by dribbling with the ball etc like Edun can. It made us very ineffective down that side all game.

I accept it will be an uphill battle, but we must do our best to hang on to CBT. After his performance yesterday he really showed his worth to us. If he stayed, he may be playing in the Championship next season, ( we can but dream ).

No real loyalty in football but it’d be nice to see a bit from Blackett Taylor. It’s the right fit for both parties and hopefully he realises that too. We are on the up as a club.

CBT been superb and well worthy of contract reflecting that,I hope AS and CBT's agent aswell as himself realizes he has a home with us and signs a new deal sharpish.

It would be a refreshing change of pace wouldn’t it. I can see him doing the business for years at CAFC….. or holding out for a “big” club, going to Huddersfield, reverting to his inconsistent worst and ending up at Bradford in a few years. Sign up CBT…. You know it makes sense.

Sign up CBT…. You know it makes sense. I understand the desire to tie him down to a new contract but he was so inconsistent last season, and had injury problems, that I’d be reluctant to offer him a break the bank contract on a long term basis. This is especially relevant just now, when the Championship clubs are likely to have much more restrictive rules about the wages they can pay with the new Premier League ‘offer’. If we give the player a big pay rise, on a long term contract, and his form dips, again, we could have another Charlie Kirk situation on our hands.
