Thought I would mention how well Adam Matthews has been playing for most of the season and especially since the restart. Since he has replaced Solly we look much better as a team for it. Against Hull and today he was arguably are best player, good defending and good attacking. Is he signed up for next season ? If not we need to sign him up quickly

I agree entirely. He looks a very good player. His pace has really surprised me in the two games since the restart.

100% agreed and it's unlikely many will disagree? He's not signed up yet and we really need to renew him plus a few others to consolidate on this season.
Solly was a great servant to the club but it has been clear for some time that he was not part of the future if we want to keep climbing the leagues.

He reminds me of Luke Young ... he is very quick going in either direction.
It’s interesting that he didn’t make the playoff final in May 19 with Nyan taking his place.
But maybe he was on silly money and the Black Cats wanted to freeze him out?
His attitude has looked first class for us but then again I wouldn’t want to get into a ruck with Bows 😉

I am sure some on here stated that Dillon was garbage and never going to be any good.

Incredibly consistent all season. I reckon our best player at present With Dills and Cullen? Phillips I really like also. Cullen good and always solid but never for some reason rate him as highly as others

Hope he's enjoyed his time with us enough to have a conversation about extending If/when everything is not so up In the air.

Phillips I really like also. Cullen good and always solid but never for some reason rate him as highly as others I think that Josh has been our player of the year based on his match by match consistency. You don’t appreciate just how good he is until he’s out injured or suspended. He does all the tough work whilst still being a creative influence in the engine room. Him and Dazza have had to play as a pair in the last two matches against an opposition three but with the help of our two strikers and McGeady and Albie they have been immense and have played for the whole game too. Those two are the proverbial butchers dogs!

I would have Dillon Phillips as my player of the year. He has improved year on year and is extremely consistent.

Josh Cullen has been superb in attitude, commitment and performances for us. He of our best ever loans for me.
To get back on topic though, I agree with all of the above plaudits for Mathews, he seems to get better and better, and is a big reason why Solly received a lot less abuse than someone else.

Cullen good and always solid but never for some reason rate him as highly as others Josh is a machine, never let's his work rate drop, neat and tidy footballer, no fancy stuff. How we miss him, when he doesnt play... Most of all hes honest and loyal. I thank him for all his efforts on behalf of our club and his team mates, unlike that other bloke we had, that refused to play...
