Barnsley play Hull tomorrow. If we win we can move above Hull if they don't win.
All those points we dropped from late goals against us is really coming back now, if we hadn't dropped those we'd have 5 points more, Huddersfield 2 points fewer and Hull 1 point less.

We have to keep winning matches, this isn't League One.

Teams at the foot of the table getting unexpected results isn’t such a surprise, after all they are all looking to maintain their Championship status and thus are pulling out all the stops to do so. We are in exactly the same situation and therefore we have to hope and expect the lads to do the same by putting in a shift tomorrow night and then again on Saturday. Obviously the pressure will continue to rise on every club and who proves to have the strongest resolve will eventually prevail come May. As jeddez says, our fate is in our own hands, as it always has been.

The pack is tightening up which means just one thing: the safety target goes up a notch. Expect there are websites which might predict the likely points required.
We still need to keep performing and keep winning at least one in three. Let's see how we and the others do tomorrow and Saturday.

Looking highly unlikely now that 47 points will be enough.
If the bottom 6 teams are going to up their game then we must do the same. After all, we're now reinforced with some cracking January signings (thanks Mr Southall).
Sheffield Wednesday is a winnable game. They'll underestimate us just like Forest did. Underdogs will triumph again.

Its' 53 points for safety for me and I just can't see where the 14 we need are coming from.

Shocking results for us tonight. Could really do with Birmingham having points deducted re FFP. Wonder how long that will take to come through 🤔

6-1 on Birmingham to be relegated according to odds checker. Anyone think it’s worth a punt?

That's part of the problem. Not if we keep doing what we are doing... It was not a shocking night it’s how this league going .. if Wigan Barnsley and Luton could play all their games at home they would be fine but it’s not as easy as that ...

I really think we will gather enough points to survive. But I think we will lose tonight.

Barnsley are away at Hull who are one of my tips to get caught up in the relegation battle.
Could potentially have Luton, Barnsley, Wigan and ourselves all stay up and Hull, Middlesbrough and one other to go down.

I still think who goes down will be based on the home form because at the moment this is where the bottom 3 are picking up results .. so here are the home games that they have left
Luton
Stoke , PNE, Reading , Barnsley , QPR and Blackburn
Wigan
Luton, Blackburn, Stoke, QPR, Hull and Fulham
Barnsley
Cardiff , Millwall , Blackburn , Wigan, Notts For
Charlton
Middboro, QPR , Millwall , Wigan and Reading

I mean we are no closer to safety as the point differential remains the same. That said BB makes a good point (😧) when he says we are closer to the end of the season... Other than that unfortunately our points have enabled us to not worsen our position that is all...

Hull 0-1 Barnsley so all the bottom 4 set to win at this rate.
We're losing on stats but not on goals.
