Media talk I know but do you think that is likely that the Bougherra for cash replaced by Hudson on a free is the way we might go in some positions this season?
The £2+ for Bougey would be handy to spend elsewhere within the team but are we creating problems by solving others so to speak?
Hudson is not bad but Bougey is better so how would you react if this happens, should be be blinded by the incoming cash and free transfer possibility as a replacement side of it?

The problem with replacing players sold for cash with those on a free is that due to signing on fee's etc, a player on a free doesn't necessarily cost any less.
I think the better question might be should we release relatively young players who are saleable and will attract good money and replace for players that cost less but may be more experienced?
The answer to that for me is yes provided we get a decent player in return. Lets take Curbs selling Danny Mills and replacing with Greg Shields. That was definitely a bad move.
