personally thought he was outstanding against Reading , and just watched his interview on Valley Pass , seems like a really nice guy too..
although i think that he meant “feet on the ground” rather than the “head on the ground” comment he made twice.... 😂😂

I couldn’t agree more Hairy. He broke up play superbly and distributed the ball very well and yet still only twenty one. I can only see him getting better and better under LB.
Let’s hope he stays with us for the whole season.

Looks a very confident and assured player. In fact, he looks a very very good player..

Many WBA fans were surprised he went out on loan, probably even more so to another Championship club. He sounds like a nice and level headed young man, who is happy and feels fortunate to be with us. The head on the ground comments made me smile too.

After seeing him against Forest Green where he was bang average, I did wonder if he was as good as the West Brom fans were telling us, Saturday answered that though thankfully!

I understand he can also fill in at left back in an emergency so he gives the squad more depth.

Yes maybe fitness has been an issue before, but getting fitter, integrating into a new club and squad successfully, and being obviously happy at Charlton, plus improving under LB, we could have another great player found by the SMT. It would be a loss if WBA see his improved performances and decide to re call him when they can, which is often the risk you take with loan players.

LB says Sam Field might be next one back after Williams. "He's been outside a little while with them [West Brom]. Josh Cullen will be a month. Massive loss...it's unreal."

Yes I really like Field too, he would definitely strengthen up our midfield, especially at this time. Looking forward to him being available again. I’d be happy to sign him on a permanent, still young and with a lot of potential.

Been sadly missed .. excellent player who I think we should sign Would rather that than Leko I think West brom know his potential though. Played 12 games in the prem and they were ready to build their team around him until Bilic came in and brought in other players

Obviously had a setback.
Not a glowing endorsement is it that we have had three loans out long term, two for the season.

It’s disappointing if it’s true that he’s out for the season, he looked very good, and would’ve helped out in the Pratley role. Another one that will need to be replaced, and another loan spot freed up. The only positive being if we can replace him quickly, we won’t need to wait for his injury to heal.

As he can’t play next week he has 2 weeks, effectively... then we have a break 1 week after that.. so there is no rush.. be ready for Feb is best

Was told he would be back mid feb ... Your physio mate is usually wrong, so no change there! Is he ... There was good news surrounding Josh Cullen and Sam Field too, as both are making progress as they look to return from ankle and knee injuries respectively. “Josh Cullen will be back in and around training on Monday to do the last bits of rehab which is a big boost. “Sam Field isn’t far away. “Slowly but surely they’ll be coming back.

Field is a great ayer and I think overseen when he was playing as we were doing so well, the flare came from Cullen and Williams in midfield I said when we got him and Leko, albion mates rate him highly, they were going to build their team around him until Bilic came in. Fair enough the old manager is now at Doncaster and West brom are top of the league without doing that, but for a relegated prem team to have those plans shows the promise he has Will also give Pratley a much deserved rest
