Seen a couple of rumours on Twitter that West Ham will be recalling him in January in order to sell him.
Will RD actually be prepared to pay a transfer fee to sign him?
Really think he is a top player and could go on to become a real star.

Yes I wouldn’t be surprised at all if that was true, West Ham won’t let him run down his contract, and if he’s playing well they will probably get a decent fee for him. I thought they might have sold him before, and didn’t really expect us to get him back.
If RD is here still, it’s extremely unlikely that we would buy him , he prefers the loan market while the club is for sale.

Really think he is a top player and could go on to become a real star. I wouldn't have thought sufficient funds will be made available to sign Josh Cullen permanently. Also, I don't know whether he would want to be a Championship player on what he may foresee as a long term basis. He might have his sights set on a Premier League future more quickly than we can provide one. Que será será. He isn't our player after all. The most we can do as fans is enjoy watching him play his best game for us while he is here.

Rd wouldn’t pay the fee he would command I’d put him at lower prem level or top champ side enjoy while he’s here he’s class

Really think he is a top player and could go on to become a real star. Just posted something similar on another thread. There is no doubt West Ham will recall Josh Cullen, at least initially. It would be madness, from their perspective, to simply leave him at Charlton and let him run his contract down. The real question is what will their strategy be? The best scenario for us would be if West Ham believe he’s going to be good enough for them, but not quite yet. In this situation they might extend his current contract and allow his loan to continue. Alternatively, at one extreme, they might recall him and include him in their first team squad. At the other extreme they’d sell him immediately to the highest bidder on the grounds they don’t think he’ll make it in the EPL. Unfortunately, while all is not lost, I’d be surprised if we don’t lose him in January.

We will sell Taylor and use the funds to by Cullen I'd be happy with that Young hungry player in, and a player who wants to go at 29 out Of course we would miss his goals but if we can get someone in to help along with a few, focus on staying up this season, we can then try and build again next summer

We will sell Taylor and use the funds to by Cullen I'd take that all day long.

I’d also take that, but we’d still be left with a major problem in how to replace Taylor with (presumably) not much money

I’d love Cullen to stay too, but unless Hemed or our other options start scoring regularly, we might be better spending any money that becomes available on a replacement striker.
We are quite well blessed with midfielders at the moment, it’s goalscoring forward that are so hard to find without spending big money.

We shouldn't need to sell our best players (Taylor) in order to be able to sign other players.
If only we had an owner with ambition.

We will sell Taylor and use the funds to by Cullen Unfortunately, I suspect he is more likely to sell Taylor and pocket the money and then let Cullen go back.

Not hard to predict.. West Ham, hardly going to let contract run down, and Josh playing as well as he is, would need to sort his future out, also... Wait and see what develops, no point worrying over, something that you have no control over... Josh Cullen is a credit, to West Ham, and Most importantly to himself... Well done Josh, However long you stay, thank you, and what a pleasure it is to watch you play. I hope your journey with us continues..

Told you that weeks ago he would be recalled in Jan .... Give it a rest BB! David Gold tweeted that he "might" recall him in January and its one of the worst kept secrets within the industry that Cullen will 99% go back in Jan so that the hammers can get a fee for him

In my opinion, Josh is the hardest player to replace that we currently have.
Bows and Gallen will have a job on their hands in Jan.

Told you that weeks ago he would be recalled in Jan .... You don’t rate him anyway... you’ve left him out of your preferred starting XI on numerous occasions..!!

Eventually Cullen will return to West Ham. I’m pretty useless at assessing what a player is worth, so for arguments sake if they decided to sell him rather than offer him a new contract what kind of money would they be looking for if they we of a mind to sell? I’ve no idea. Would it be a fee that would be in our range or something more like the figure Derby had to pay for Bielik? Answers on a postcard......

After three years in League one, most of us are out of touch with fees paid by the top ten. Transfermarkt will have a list for last summer and windows before - will take a look... We all know Bielik went for £10M!

It’s difficult to guess what Josh would cost another club in these days of crazy fees. I really rated Bielik, and he was great for us, but I would never have expected him to for a reported 10 million. As always it will depend on how badly a club wants him probably.

I don’t think anyone knows really. It’s why we get the shock transfer fees. £70m+ for Pepe...
Contract length is always a big factor. That’s at least on our side, if we still have the Djiksteel money available you never know.
I guess the problem as well is if West Ham say they see a future for him and offer a good contract with the promise of games, then we don’t really have much of a chance. As much as he loves it here he loves West Ham and they are a prem team.
