Good forward thinking by Bowyer as well.
It’s very hard to see Lyle Taylor staying beyond January. Tomer is his replacement.

Even someone like you can see that was rubbish? I said his value was 2.5 mill but guessed we would only be paying 1.5 mill but Brighton cancelled his contract and paid up the final year of his contract which .. makes him a free agent ... If only you could read make life so much easier .... |

I’m so glad this transfer saga is over, great to get him on board. Still think we’re light at right full back but we do now have an exciting squad that gives us plenty to look forward to.

This is a really good signing. It was absolutely essential that we signed someone who could both play up alongside Lyle Taylor and provide back up in the event Taylor is unavailable. Hemed fits the bill.
I think we can also say now, given the budget available, that we had about as successful a window as we might have reasonably expected. Lee Bowyer will now have options to change the set up or make changes in game. Great news.

Yes of course that is a possibility, but we have both of them at least until January, and If it does happen we at least will have Hemed here to find a new strike partner for if Bonne still isn’t up to it. How about we hold on to the positivity of signing a new player, before we get negative again discussing losing one in four months time. A lot can happen before then, and nobody knows for sure how it will pan out. |
