yeah it is annoying and just makes other things that come out of his mouth hard to believe.
although he said he wants to keep Thatcher, and i believe that cos that's just something he would do *sigh*

Cant see anything wrong with it myself and am astonished that anyone thinks things will be any different as we always (try to) do our business out of the spotlight, which IMO, is the best way to protect your interests and not alert other clubs.
After all, if the news hadnt got out that we were in talks with Flamini and Kezman then god knows where we could be now?
Having said that this bloke could be talking a load of bull and just trying to drum up more interest or panic some other clubs into making an offer.....

nothing wrong with saying he doesn't want to talk about speculation, but he stated that there had been no contact with Connolly.
i agree Connolly could be talking bull but i think that's more unlikely.

But in saying that he doesnt want to discuss the speculation isnt that then implying he is in talks?
TBH I couldnt give a shit if we never heard the slightest rumour if it meant we got more of our targets
