We have a history of players brought in from lower league level and struggled ranging from Andy Jones to Izale McLeod so I just cannot understand this to be honest Dan.
He has been in league football once and didn't make the grade however his accident didn't help.
Torquay's Tom Sils is better than Fleetwood despite not scoring as many goals because he has more to his all round game.

With the service not being that great (hopefully that'll be rectified) do we not need a "fox in the box" though?

Looks like a younger version of our very own Derek Hales in looks and strike rate, if he's anywhere near as prolific as 'Killer' we'll have a new champion to cheer The Valley faithfull.

Another after thought of mine is take the likes of Hull.
They bring in a kid on loan from Man Utd who has worked wonders for them so that is the route we should be taking if we cannot afford to buy and not going down as far as the conference so we can afford to spend.

I believe we are organising a benefit match this summer for one of our previous signings from a non-league club to celebrate his twentyfive year connection with us. He seemed to play quite well at the time!
