A host of Championship clubs are doing battle for Bonaventure Kalou - older brother of Chelsea's Salomon.
The Ivory Coast international striker, who has 12 goals in 51 international appearances, is currently a free agent having departed Al-Jazira Club in Abu Dhabi.
Kalou, like brother Salomon, made his name at Feyenoord with whom he had a successful six-year stint before spells in France with Auxerre, Paris-Saint Germain and Lens.
The 30-year-old has now set his sights on a move to England and has no shortage of Championship admirers.
Hull, Charlton and Wolves are all thought to be trailing the African forward although it is The Tigers who appear to be leading the chase.
The player's agent Saif Rubie told skysports.com: "We are talking to several Championship sides, Hull seem to be favourites.
"Bona would love a move to England to be closer to his brother and is the type of player who could make a real impact - especially at Championship level.
"His pedigree speaks for itself, he is hungry and at 30 years of age he still has good years ahead of him."
