Almost impossible to answer but the options are
1. Limped along as a nomad probably in the 2nd or 3rd tier 2. Found a new permanent home probably still in the 2nd tier 3. Gone bust
I suspect the answer is 2. if people like Murray stayed involved and bankrolled the club or 3. if they didn't.
I don't believe that 1. was sustainable.
If I had to come down one way or another it would be 2.

We'd have gone bust, the fans would have started AFC Charlton, we would have been playing at Welling's Ground, been relatively successful, and by now we'd have found a piece of land to build a new stadium on and would probably been a league club (just).
