So how many players do you think we need to build on today and make big wins a more prominent feature next season.
Who would be in your starting line up for the first game in August from today and what positions do we need to strengthen in?

We need a new Keeper (or promote from within). The keeper needs to be not only a shot stopper but comes for crosses and commands his area.
We need a right back who can bomb forward but also defend. Moo2 can do the former but nor the latter. Halford's OK but still could get forward more - will we sign him? I doubt it.
We need a box to box midfielder with a good creative touch as well. Shelvey could be the one although I think he needs at least another season.
We need to be able to hold the ball and pass it so that we can bring our strikers into play. We saw today that Varney and Gray could be a potent pair if we can get them on the ball in dangerous areas.

Richard Stearman, right back and Ben Foster on loan from United would be a masterstroke in goal. Add Fraser Campbell and a box to box midfielder and that would be great. What I would give for Greening  |

I really would approach Sir Alex over 3 season long loans
Foster, Campbell and Piquet the centre half
