I have just been reading a sad story over on CL and would like to pass on my condolences via this forum to Jimmy85 who lost his Dad over the weekend. I can relate to his sadness because as you all know I lost mine a couple of years ago too, he died at 3pm on the day we won the L2 title at Carlise and my family kept it from me until I got home. Like Jimmy going to the Valley for the first time after he passed was very emotional because it's where Dad worked for just over two years as Assistant Manager to Lennie but I had to go no matter how raw it was for me to do so but I know that he would have wanted me to go there and cheer my team on. Irrespective of what forum we post on, we lost one of our own today and I am sure that you would all would like to join me in sending our thoughts to Jimmy and his family at this difficult time. forum.charltonlife.com/discussion/66098/march-1951-october-2014-rip-march51

Very sad, what a wonderfully beautiful tribute by Jimmy to his dear dad though. RIP x
