I am going to Dublin on Saturday morning for the Irish Champions weekend which consists of Leopardstown on the Saturday and The Curragh on the Sunday. During our time there we have exclusive access to three of the major studs in Ireland that contain the World's leading stallions.
I have seen your post on CL about going to Bohemians v Shamrock. I have done both grounds and Shelbourne's so if it's info you need like how to get there, what to expect and where to stay let me know. I frequent Dublin quite a lot for racehorse and stallion reasons so I can tell you whatever it is you need to know too on the football front. There are 5 clubs in Dublin believe it or not all in close proximity.
Bo's ground is Dalymount Park a short walk from Croke Park and I suggest you do the tour. Shelbourne's Tolka Park is around the corner from there in Drumcondra.

If you are going Dublin for a night out, just go Copper Face Jacks. Guaranteed a pull.

Australia will win on three legs, The Grey Gatsby is a big danger though. I'm looking forward to seeing Tapestry and Leading Light too.
Looking forward to seeing Australia for the first time on Saturday and going back to see Sea the Stars at Derrinstown. Will be going down to Mountmellick to visit Pilsudski too, I think we are going to 5 studs all in all.
Ruler of the World keeps evading me however as he has not been declared for the Champions stakes but I have that covered by going to the English Champion stakes at Ascot in October.
I think I have met 14 Derby winners so far so Australia on Saturday will make that 15.
Wouldn't mind Dave Mehmet getting back to be though because if he does go to Bohemians there are so many other things worth seeing in the vicinity, Croke Park especially and that is a must see.

I am most looking forward to seeing his two year olds Highland Reel and John F Kennedy. It is stable policy to give their very best horses high profile names, and I think the latter could turn out to be something special.
Galileo is the new Saddlers Wells.

I met Galileo last year Royston at Coolmore.
You must be able to read my mind about John F Kennedy. I have stood at the foot of his grave alone in Arlington cemetery in 2002 at 08:00am, I deliberately went at that time for that reason.
As far as the horse is concerned for obvious reasons with a name like that I am looking forward to following his career and he will be at Leopardstown at the weekend. I hope he turns out to be as good as another Coolmore horse names after a former President - George Washington who I adored.

Not sure about the terrace Dave but the side I was on and behind the goal to the right are both crumbling wrecks full of broken stained seats and overgrown weeds.
The main stand is the best maintained so I would imagine the most populated. The playing surface is good though.

The main stand is on the main road. You will come to a major crossroads, stay on the side of the road where the Bohemian pub is on the corner. It's a ground that has no obvious access from teh road apart from behind the goal with the seats in which is where the car park is too. That side of the ground id fenced though so I don't think you can access the main stand from there.
There is however a narrow alleyway from the main road that cuts between the houses which leads down to the main stand but blink and you'll miss it so either ask or like I said with the pub on your right walk up the main road and it's a right turn after about 70/80 yards down the alleyway.
